MEET TURNER
Turner is a spunky five-year-old rat terrier mix that was taken into a Michigan Animal Shelter when his family passed away. Turner’s owners had not appointed an alternate guardian for him and did not have a plan in place for his care. The family’s relatives were not able to take him in and they were forced to take him to the local animal shelter.
Unfortunately, Turner ended up in an animal shelter that sells unclaimed pets to research brokers. Lucky for Turner, animal rescue group Voiceless-MI works hard to step in and pull pets out of the shelter before they can be sold to research dealers. They were able to get Turner out of the shelter and find him a loving forever home.
