Our Mission
Estate Planning Attorney Thomas Doyle and animal welfare advocate Becki Mayo started Fido’s Future to educate pet parents about the importance of planning for their pet’s future. Through his work in estate settlement, Tom noticed that despite some clients’ extensive planning, they often forgot to mention that they had pets and make the necessary arrangements for them. And in Becki’s work in animal rescue, she came across many loving pets who had been turned over to animal shelters because their owners had passed away. They realized that if they worked together to educate and assist pet parents in taking small steps and putting plans in place for their pets, that they could save many pets from the uncertain fate of animal shelters.
